Diamant museum Amsterdam has a good history of diamonds and a good explanation of the method of mining and processing diamonds. The museum shows the process of making diamonds and how it relates to Amsterdam’s history. Diamond Museum Amsterdam is a small museum so if you have a window of just one hour, to visit this museum should be enough.
The exhibitions shown are very informative and interesting. If you have a true interest in the topic there is a lot to learn but it is all explained very well. You also get a free pass for a free tour at Coster Diamonds located about 30 meters down the road where you get to see diamonds being cut and shaped by an expert.
